Jason Shanks

President, OSV Institute
In line with the mission of OSV, the OSV Institute seeks to serve the Church by supporting and encouraging innovative and effective Church-related programs and activities that help Catholics fulfill their calling to discipleship, strengthen their relationship with Christ, deepen their commitment to the Church, and contribute to its growth and vitality in the world. Before joining OSV, Jason served as Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM). Here he successfully combined and reorganized five separate county-based Catholic social service agencies into one regional service agency that assists more than 20,000 people annually for the Archdiocese of Detroit. Prior to Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan, Jason was Secretariat Leader of Evangelization and Parish for the Diocese of Toledo. Earlier in his career, his involvement in Youth Ministry and Business and Pastoral Administration provided him with strong parish experience. Jason has a Bachelor's degree in Education from Miami University, Oxford, OH; a Master's degree in Theology from Pontifical College Josephinum, Columbus, OH; and a Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration from Mendoza College of Business of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN. He also holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Indianapolis, IN.
